Top picture. Harry Thomas outside Horner Mill, c 1925. The water wheel drove a threshing set in the rear of the building, which Harry brought with him from his former farm at Kittisford, near Wiveliscombe.
Lower picture. Horner Farmhouse, c 1930. At this time the farm was occupied by Harry Thomas and his wife Elizabeth. The tidy vegetable garden has, over the years, been replaced by the main drive up to the house, with a turning circle, the remainder being lawn and flower borders.
